Modere und effiziente Bt-Technologien gegen den Maiszünsler sind hierzulande ein Tabu. LowTech á la "zerkleinernde Mulcher, quetschende schwere Walzen und schneidende Scheibeneggen" kommen dagegen gut an. Aber wer denkt diesmal an die armen geplätteten Käferchen ;-)

Offiziell wird die Gentechnik immer noch als Zukunftstechnologie Europas bezeichnet. Die Realität lässt daran zweifeln, ob dies von nationalen Politiker auch wirklich ernst gemeint ist.

Die französische Regierung versteht Hinweise auf die EU-Gesetzeslage offenbar als politische Kampfansage. Wie wohl Ilse Aigner (CSU), die den Bt-Maisanbau in Deutschland verboten hat, bei ähnlichen Zurechtweisungen reagieren würde?

Es bleibt dabei: das Mon810-Anbauverbot in Frankreich entbehrt jeglicher juristischen Grundlage. Auch in Deutschland wurde der Mon810 von Ministerin Ilse Aigner (CSU) untersagt.
