In den USA wird die Überregulierung der Grünen Gentechnik längst thematisiert. In Europa hat man es immerhin schon geschafft, die Vorschriften zur Krümmung von Salatgurken aufzuheben ;-)

Das LGL Bayern veranstaltet am 30.11.2011 eine Fachtagung zur Gentechnik - Anmeldung ist erfoderlich. Als Expertin zum Thema "Risikobewertung von GVO" spricht Beate Tappeser (BfN), vor ihrer Verbeamtung durch Renate Künast (Grüne) Anti-Gentechnik-Aktivistin beim Ökoinstitut Freiburg.

Der französische Fachverband der Maiserzeuger (AGPM), der eigene Studien zum Bt-Maisanbau durchgeführt hat, drängt angesichts der Maiswurzelbohrerproblematik darauf, gentechnisch veränderte Maissorten zuzulassen. Der komplette Maisanbau in Frankreich stehe auf dem Spiel.
